LQ/FOR-22 DB9 to ICOM M803

Connecting an ICOM M-803 to an FOR-22 or LQ 4WG2 is straightforward.

  1. Ensure the Relay/GPO on the LQ/FOR-22 is firing as expected.

  2. Create a cable as follows. Use of a terminal block to DB9 adapter will make this easier:

  1. In the ICOM M803 menu system, set Remote > MOD to AF/MOD as follows:
