Wireless: How do I upgrade my FSII Beltpack to have Bluetooth functionality
I have been told that I can upgrade my existing FSII BP, in order to enable Bluetooth functionality.
What is the process ??
Answer:
You can now enable Bluetooth functionality on your pre - existing 2024 units
FSII BP units built after Q4 2023 have Bluetooth already enabled when they leave the factory
Any FSII BP with s/n XXXDC40 or later should be BT enabled
You can also check by going into the FSII BP menu
headset options – there you will see BT option
or firmware version it will show a BT version number
Order part # FSII-BP19-BT-UPG for the number of units that require Bluetooth (via your local Clear-Com dealer)
The Clear-Com dealer will be sent a license key
Your Clear-Com dealer will either
a) Come to site and upgrade the FSII BP units
b) Send the license key and a copy of the upgrade app (called Clear-Com power Tools) to you (the end user) for you to do your own upgrade.
