How do I dial into an Eclipse party line from a phone line?

To set up a telephone dial-in to a party line,

In EHX go to local advanced, preset listen, and select the crosspoint between the phone line and the PL.

Set it to on ( it will show a red dot). The incoming call can now hear the PL. To allow the caller to talk on the PL also, go to local advanced, preset talk, and activate the same crosspoint. Now the caller can talk and listen to that PL.

You can have more than one phone line set up this way into the same PL, and all the distant callers will be able to hear each other as well as the PL.

The setup above is when a Telephone line is fixed to an associated PL .

If you require more flexibility the incoming caller can use “Assign DTMF code” routing feature to select which PL they want to join.
