Arcadia : Call light on FSII BP is always flashing (blinking)

Arcadia : Call light on FSII BP is always flashing (blinking)

Q1: I'm using an Arcadia system with FSII beltpacks. In the wireless beltpacks if there is a CALL A key in its role the CALL A's key light is always blinking. I think is not correct.

Answer # 1

  1. It means either an beltpack or a port (4wire, 2w , Helixnet) is calling the Channel

  2. Check the key types on the roles like Talk and listen , talk only etc and one is NOT latched on

  3. Check if you have some 2W Encore or Helixnet beltpack in the same channel and if they are keeping the call button pressed

  4. Check the logic in Arcadia is not programmed to send CALL to the channel when someone is talking to the channel

Answer : Yes it was a wired call.

Q2: By the other hand, I have another issue:

The FSII BP sidetone works well but it doesn't work well when the system is connected to a wired 2w basestaion. In this case you listen your own voice (side tone) very loud and it is not possible to control it through the sidetone control. Do you know why?

Answer #2

Please make sure you have nulled the 2W connection using the Arcadia

Please make sure you set termination per 2w channel on the Encore MS-70x unit AND disabled termination on the Arcadia 2w port

From customer : We have solved it. It was an incorrect null process done without termination
