What is the PTP processing capability(PPS) of the AoIP panel?

The PPS value is the number of nodes that can be processed within the same network.

We were given special information about the values ​​of Hirakawa Hewtech's BC switches.

This value is said to be capable of handling PTP for approximately 130pps (130 nodes).

 

Since communication between PTP Master and Slave is performed by multicast, communication between one port of the switch is carried out for the number of nodes on the same network. In order to determine its own PTP exchanges, nodes that exceed the PPS value will no longer function.
