Matrix: IFB audio, can I switch the PGM via GPI or panel key

    •  IFB audio, Is there any way to quickly remove/add PGM audio to and from an IFB channel with an external control?  I need to be able to do this without going into the software. 

     

    The answer is there are several ways this can be done

    1. Declare the IFB with the IFB source field left empty in the EHX , you can place a port the IFB destination field

    trigger a Control to set the PGM port as a source to the IFB

    • Create a route with the PGM assigned as source to the IFB

    • attach the route to a control

    • Place the control onto a Panel key or inside a matrix GPI (and use an external switch to enable the control)

    Using the Control method - you could also use the control to trigger a logic maestro command which will allow you to flip/flop between PGM 1 and PGM 2 as the sources of the IFB

     

     

    1. You can declare one of your intercom panels as IFB Assignment panel.

    • When a intercom panel is setup as IFB assignment panel.

    • You place the keys to IFBs you want to control

    • Place LISTEN keys to the PGMs you want to control
