    HCI Live (Host Computer Interface) is an open API protocol that allows an (external) Host PC or Automation software or router control software to manage the audio switching functions and system monitoring features found in EHX

    Any of the Eclipse matrices can support HCI Live. The HCI-Live interface has been used widely by many AV engineers to integrate the control of the Eclipse matrix and other equipment like Routers, Audio Controller, mixers onto a single Host PC (using a single control surface). 

    In the Defense & Simulation market, the HCI Live API has been used widely in all types of tactical trainers and command & control systems


    The HCI Live interface (API) is a slimmed down version of the main HCI application and only provides access to matrix Controls (GPIOs) and Crosspoints . It is intended to allow AV engineers and software developers to quickly write code or develop applications which will allow the user to control the Eclipse matrix. 


    When a customer orders HCI Live , Clear-Com provides:

    HCI Licenses: Full Automation or Basic Controls

    The HCI License is available in 2 versions.

     

    1. HCI-E-HX provides full automation API for advanced control integration of Eclipse into 3rd party systems. Allowing the 3rd party to configure and control an Eclipse system at the touch of a button or on a schedule.

     

    1. HCI-LIVE-HX is a subset of HCI-E-HX providing the API of Eclipse Controls and Crosspoints enabling simple on/off integration over networks (virtual GPIO). Allowing 3rd party control integration of paging, routing, tallies via networks.

    • Sample HCI Live scripts using Controls (GPIOs and Crosspoints)

    • We strongly recommend you purchase Technical support (6 hrs Remote support). This allows AV engineers (or 3rd party automation company) to talk to Clear-Com S/W developers to ensure the API is used correctly
