Matrix: Why do some crosspoints remain active when I delete a key on the main page of my panel and leave the mirrored keys

    • Using EHX : General explanation: This only happens if you assign the same label multiple times to a panel (we call that mirrored keys) on different shift pages.

     

    If you delete a label on main page, the mirrored keys are still there and need to be deleted as well if you want everything deleted.

    If the main page key is deleted and was latched on, then the mirrored keys will stay and be still latched.

     

    This is also true when using HCI to delete keys:

    In case you are using HCI commands to delete one of the latched keys, you should first send an un-latch key command and then delete the key(s)
