Matrix: Is it possible to disable the headset detect on the V-series Iris panel

Question: Would it be possible to disable the headset detect functionality on the Iris Panel?

Answer - Yes you can disable the automatic headset detect function. There are two dip switches inside the panel for HS1 and HS2.

V-Series Iris panels can auto detect when a headset is plugged in and automatically enable it. Headset auto detect can be set to enabled or disabled via a DIP switch (SW4) on the main board.

As headset insertion can cause a noise on the panel some users may wish to disable automatic headset detect and use the front panel button instead to enable and disable the headsets.

To access the DIP switches, the rear cover must be removed from the panel. The DIP switch is located on the righthand side of the main PCB close to the upper edge of the PCB (looking from the rear connection side - see the picture below for details).

DIP switch positions:

ON = head-set detection ENABLED

OFF= head-set detection DISABLED

Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
