Matrix: how do I get realtime monitoring of Matrix GPI and GPO + Controls,

My customer has a complex set of Logic Maestro functions that switches on various GPIO using isolates and XNOR gates (as configured through "controls" on the Logic Maestro pages) I just would like to monitor what's happening.

 

Answer :

a) you can view the LED status on the front of the GPI-6 and RLY-6 cards to tell you if a control is active

b) Using the simulation button in the Logic Maestro you can step through your logic diangrma to see if the outcomes are correct

 

c) Using a normal HX-control you troubleshoot your logic diagram by configuring the control it to turn on a LED on a panel and or fire a relay , at each stage of the logic to see if the logic is working correctly

 

d) Using a custom command in the EHX > diagnostic > Event log

you can enable real time status monitoring of Controls

 

the event log will show the on/off status of the card/pin associated with your control
