I cannot downgrade my Arcadia/FSE-BASE

Question: I am loading version 2.5.x.x or older on my Arcadia/FSE-BASE that is running v2.8.x.x and my unit states that it is incompatible with my unit. Why is that?

Answer: Due to constraints of available components used in Arcadia/FSE-BASE an alternative component of an equal performance was sourced requiring minor modification in its firmware file structure. This component cannot run older firmware versions and the device is therefore inhibited from downgrading to version 2.5 or older.

 

Note: There is no performance change with this update, only hardware compatibility.
