HelixNet Endpoints Display "Unsupported"

HelixNet Endpoints Display "Unsupported"

Question: Some of my HelixNet Beltpacks, Speaker and Remote Stations will not connect to my HelixNet system and instead displays a message “Unsupported HMS. Upgrade.”.

Answer: HelixNet Beltapcks, Remote and Speaker Stations built as of early 2023 were updated to provide support for a new hardware memory component as the original one was no longer available. Correspondingly these units needed a firmware update to support this new memory. They cannot run older firmware and are inhibited from downgrading to an unsupported version.

As the HelixNet Remote and Speaker Stations receive their firmware from their system host, you must upgrade your HMS-4X to version 4.4+ or Arcadia 2.8+ in order to use these newer endpoints.

Note: There is no performance change with this update, only hardware compatibility.
