CodeMeter CmContainer serial number

Think of the cmContainer as a virtual license dongle. This container can hold licenses for multiple different vendors and different kinds of license for each vendor.

 

You can find a CmContainer’s serial number, if one is installed, by opening the CodeMeter Control Center application which is installed alongside Station-IC.

This will display the name of the container (“Clearcom-Universal”) and the container’s serial number.

You can find more information about the licenses installed on this computer by using the “WebAdmin” button in the bottom right of the CodeMeter application.

Here you can see information about the type of license that is installed. The example below shows a Station-IC Subscription License and the date it is valid until.

Licenses which have passed their expiry date will be displayed in red text.

Licenses can be added and removed from these containers using the ClearCom WebDepot (http://license.clearcom.com:8080/webdepot/index.php) and your License Ticket ID.
