E-Dante card not taking firmware update from Dante Controller

When using your the Dante controller or DDM to update E-Dante cards using the xx.DNT file , please ensure that your laptop firewall is setup correctly.

 

Some firewall may block the Dante controller app from updating the E-Dante card and report firmware download failure.

 

 

On your PC go to the firewall settings

Scroll until you find the Dante firmware manager , select change settings

Make sure ALL 3 settings are ticked (Domain, Private , Public)
