E1 Transceivers Disappear After Upgrade to 12.2 or 12.4 - BPs may not register

On some systems using E1 transceivers and E-Que cards, upgrading from earlier versions of EHX to V12.2 or V12.4 causes an issue with E1 transceivers not being imported correctly. You may see the message “"unable to get slot pointer for RPN x” in the event log. The transceivers will not function in this state.

You may also have issues registering FS II BPs.

The solution to this is to request from support@clearcom.com the patched version of

  • EHX12.2, Patch # 12.2.0.17, EHX setup version 24.19.1.5,

  • EHX12.4, Patch # 009, EHX Setup version 28.12.1.3.

These patches were released on Aug 16 2022.
