EB340
is a 2 Channel Extender Station for the DX340ES Wireless Intercom System. The EB340 will add up to

15 additional wireless beltpacks
to a DX340 Intercom System. Three wireless beltpacks can be used simultaneously in hands-free, dual-channel mode, or four can be used simultaneously in single-channel mode. For example, an EB340 can be used to expand an existing 5-coach system into an 8-coach system. Up to 15 beltpacks can be registered to the EB340, although beltpack users can only talk on three (in dual-channel mode) or four (in single-channel mode) at the same time.

The DX340ES Wireless Intercom System supports hands-free, two-way digital conversations with interfacing for two channels of external radio or intercom communications. Its compact design makes it highly portable and very quick to set up and operate. Special features include two-channel operation, 4-wire audio interfaces, wideband 7kHz audio, lost packet concealment, and improved out of band RF filtering for reduced interference. With multi-channel support and relay closures, the DX340ES can also support live event, remote broadcast, movie and video production applications.

Please Note! This item is just one component of a larger intercom system. Please refer to the diagram for ideas and recommendations on how to build a Clear-Com intercom system to suit your needs.The EB340 does not operate as a stand-alone system, it can only be operated in unison with an MB340 base station (sold separately).
Wired headsets cannot be plugged directly into the EB340 and the EB340 shares the MB340 base station’s power supply, which connects to both with a Y-cable.
