Do I have to purchase a license to use Station IC on a Eclipse matrix

I have an Eclipse matrix that is running several Agent IC clients , do i need to purchase an additional license to run Station IC clients

Answer:

Station IC licenses:

You do not need to purchase any additional licenses on the Eclipse host or LQ host unit to use Station IC

The only licenses you need to purchase are for the number of Station IC PCs it self

There is no prerequisite to have Agent IC licenses on the Eclipse host or LQ host unit to use Station IC

If you have an Eclipse frame with no Agent IC licenses you can still connect Station IC clients to the Eclipse frame. You only need to purchase the correct number of Station IC licenses as these are stored on the PCs running the Station IC App

May 28, 2023 solution update

Future EHX releases V13.1 on-wards will require the user to purchase either

a) Station IC licence that resides on the PC and is time limited (months or years) or

b) Station IC license that resides on the matrix as a perpetual license

System Minimum Requirements

Host Intercom System Eclipse:

  • Perpetual Licenses*: 13.0+ with E-IPA (or IVC-32)

  • Client Licenses: 12.1+** with E-IPA (or IVC-32)

Host Intercom System LQ:

  • Perpetual Licenses: N/A*

  • Client Licenses: 4.2+

Agent IC Licenses:

You will have to purchase a license for the Eclipse host or LQ host unit to use Agent IC
