What is the UN Number for BAT850 NiMH battery?

NiMh batteries do have a UN number associated for shipment by ocean only.  UN 3496.  This UN number is not to be used if batteries are to be transported by air services.  IATA does not require a UN number for these batteries as they are not considered a dangerous good.

Using UN 3496 for an air shipment may cause delays. Attached is the MSDS we maintain for NiMh batteries.
