Helixnet: HKB-2X speaker stations losing configuration

Problem

Symptom: After setting the HKB-2X Key, restart the HMS-4X or disconnect the Power line and the two HKB-2X keys will show no assignment.

This happens every time.

 

HKB-2X Power: from Power line

All other HKB-2Xs are connected by Power line, and some HKBs use local power.

The power line is a good connection with no data errors.

Solution

From the logs we can see you are not using roles but rather the HKB units are using the local configuration. Also for those two HKB units the setup files are using an old format.

  1. Try resetting to default on those two units and assign channels again.This will force them to pickup the latest firmware and setup files.

  2. If that does not work, configuring and assigning roles should work.
