How to remove Dante Domain Manager Lock from E-Dante card

Question : My E-Dante card is DDM locked, how can I unlock it when disconnected from the Dante Domain Manager network?

 

Answer : If you have removed your E-Dante card from the network without first un-enrolling it, you need to clear its domain credentials before it can be deployed elsewhere. This can be done using the Dante Controller application.

The E-Dante card must first be isolated from the Dante network, either physically or by using a VLAN.

  1. Isolate the E-Dante card from the rest of the Dante network.

  2. Disconnect and reconnect the E-Dante card.

  3. Wait for at least 2 minutes.

  4. Open the Dante Controller Device View for the E-Dante card.

  5. From the Device menu, select Clear Domain Credentials.
