Would you be able give me advice on product selection on the following….based on the BroaMan range


  1.     30x SDI feeds send – from OB van to VAR room
  2.     4x SDI return feeds – from VAR room to OB Van


Obviously we will need the RX and TX ends

It needs to be multiplexed, ideally down 1 fibre if feasible….but I get it might have to be 2 or more


Solution: use the following items

One of each will give you 30 channels in one direction (all of the R48-24 and 6 of the R48-12 channels) and 4 returns (from the remaining 6 of the R48-12) and one spare dual module.

Each box needs a duplex fibre.

12 BNC Coax to Fiber video repeater ports: 
One 1RU stand-alone BroaMan Video Repeater with six dual channel electrical-optical-electrical 3G/HD/SD-SDI modules which provide 12 BNC Coax to SFP (MSA) Fiber converter ports. Each dual module is configured by the factory to be either input or output.  Redundant PSUs included. (BroaMan part#s for a 6 in 6 out device; 1 x Repeat48-Frame-2PSU, 3 xRepeat48-2IN-3G and 3 x Repeat48-2OUT-3G)
