Connecting Agent-IC to LQ via an External Public IP address

How do I connect my Agent IC to a LQ unit via an External Public IP address

Instructions

  1. The LQ External public IP address needs to be forwarded to the LQ’s LAN IP address by the router/ firewall.
  2. The LQ External public IP address is entered into Agent-IC settings.
  3. Ensure Port 6001 is open on the router/ firewall for both TCP and UDP.
  4. The External public IP address needs to be added to the External IP address field in the Network window on the Device tab of the LQ unit.

Note – the External Port field does not need to be set.
