Matrix: No longer a toggle option in crosspoint map
Question
With previous version of EHX, in the Diagnostics >Crosspoint Map page, when you right clicked a crosspoint, one of the options was "State" and there was a drop-down offering "Kill" and "Toggle". There now seems to only be the option to "Clear" a crosspoint. In other words, you can no longer force a crosspoint open from the control software, something that we used to find quite useful. Is there an alternative way to achieve this functionality?
Answer
This feature was adjusted in EHX 10. Toggle was removed due to the potential for undesirable behaviour when the feature was misused.
The Forced Listen tab (in live mode) in Local Advanced allows the same function but with better feedback to the user. The clear function still works in the same way as kill.
