Wireless: When we connect the DX121 to the DX200 via 4W Cat5 > dual XLR, we get a "hum".

Question: When we connect the DX121 base  to the DX200 base via 4W Cat5 > dual XLR, we get a "hum", even if they stand next to each other running on the same power outlet. We haven´t tried yet but I assume we could try to put two ground lifted transformers in between. Any other suggestions/known issues?
Answer: The hum sounds like a grounding issue. The DX series products use a floating ground power supply. The rack mounted bases are not grounded by simply mounting them in a rack. All of our bases include a ground lug/point at the rear of the base and this is where your earth ground or common ground is to be attached.
