How can I make my Encore Party Line listeners hear me when I talk to IFB?

If you are not using a separate gooseneck mic for yourMA-704 IFB button assignment box, the “hot mic” from your main or
remote PLstation will be used so the IFB destinations will hear you. The Tip Ring Sleeve(TRS) cable will not only bring the
mic’s signal to the IFBs, but also, theMA-704 will send a control signal back to the main or remote station to muteyou mic to
the PL intercom channels.. But if, in fact you want the intercom listenersto hear you when talking to the talent IFB, then cut the
ring's cable (blackcable in the attached illustrations) so that control will not engage.
