Wireless: Freespeak II beltpack serial number entry in FS II base Config Editor software
Wireless: Freespeak II beltpack serial number entry in FS II base Config Editor software
Question: If I register a FS II beltpack via over the air process I noticed that the serial number is not registered into the configuration editor software GUI beltpack tab screen. Do I have to manually enter this information into the software?
Answer: Yes, if FS II beltpacks are registered via OTA then the FS II config editor GUI will not "see" the registered beltpack's five digit serial number information. It will need to be manually entered into the beltpack tab screen as shown below. Beltpacks registered via the USB cable will auto populate the serial number information into the FS II config editor software beltpack tab screen.
In the Serial Num field (BP ID), enter the serial number of the beltpack. The beltpack serial number is a five digit number on a label on the bottom of the beltpack. This serial number can also be seen in the beltpack information menu.
