Matrix: System Layout screen still showing amber after successfully applying changes (ECS V5.2.2)

When a Matrix is shown with an amber colour in the System Layout screen in ECS 5.2 this usually means that changes still need to be applied. But if a download has successfully been completed and the system has been reset (if that was required) and the Matrix is still not shown with a green colour then you are probably having the following issue:The subnet mask between your PC and the Matrix is different.
First make a note of the subnet mask used by your PC on the network device that is used to communicate with the Matrix. Second you need to compare that subnet mask value to the one on the Matrix. Here is how to do that:
  1. On the ECS System Layout screen, right-click on the still amber matrix and choose Change IP Settings
  2. Look for the subnet mask value in the resulting dialogue
Should your PCs subnet mask and the one from the matrix mismatch, fix it by either changing the subnet mask on your PC running ECS or by changing the subnet mask for the matrix by following the above steps 1 and 2 and choosing Edit.
