Matrix: How do I make a 4-wire appear on the reply key?

Question:  I am listening to multiple 4-wires on my panel. These 4-wires have audio presence tallies configured, but I would like a stronger indication of which 4-wire is active as well as be able to reply to them using the reply key.
Answer:  In Eclipse 5.2.4 and later you can configure the following to make a 4-wire appear on the reply key and provide you with a stronger activity indication.
  1. In ECS, make sure the following is set for the 4-wire you would like to configure
  2. Audio Presence Tally set to TRUE with an appropriate threshold
  3. Prevent Reply Signalisation set to FALSE
  4. In ECS, make sure the panel has a key configured to listen to the 4-wire. This can be a Listen, Talk & Listen, Talk & Forced Listen or Dual Talk & Listen key.
  5. In ECS, make sure the panel has a talk key configured to talk to the 4-wire. This can be a Talk, Talk & Listen, Talk & Forced Listen or Dual Talk & Listen key. This is usually the same key as the one above, two keys are only required if separate Listen and Talk keys are used.
That's it. When the panel operator activates the listen key (not required if the key is Talk & Forced Listen) and the incoming audio on the 4-wire rises above the threshold, the talk key to that 4-wire will show the incoming call tally (4Hz, bright, same as if a panel was calling you) as well as show up on the reply key. Both the configured talk key and the reply key can be used to reply to the 4-wire.
The above is true for all non-panel and non-trunk port types. This includes FOR-22, TEL-14, CCI-22 and Directs.
Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
