Partyline: Does the RM-704 remote station have termination jumpers / switches?
Question: I'm adding a couple of RM-704 remote panels to my existing Encore party-line system. Do the remote panels have termination settings / jumpers that I need to disable, I don't want to double terminate any of my existing PL lines?
Answer: The MS-704 has switch-selectable intercom line termination networks. The RM-704 is a remote station and therefore does not have terminating jumpers or switches that need to be disabled.
NOTE: If more than one MS-704 (or any other master station or PL power supply unit) is installed on the same intercom line, then all of the terminations in all of the stations except one must be disabled.
