Matrix: Cannot download map to Pico - wrong map format error message shown in event log
We have one Pico station. The firmwareverison is FT2114.04 (STD) 14.04 (Aug 17 2009). I can't download the map inECS4.2 & ECS5. The Matrix Event Log show ( Wrong Map Format,expecting002.005.001.003.000, recieved 002.005.000.000.001 ). Have you any idea? Answer: If your matrix is running one version of ECS and your PC has a different version of ECS installed then when you try to download a new map , the map will be rejected because it has the wrong map format.
example the answer to this customer was The Pico firmware 14.04 = ECS 5.1.1The ECS on your PC does not match the firmware in the matrix , which is why you are getting the wrong map format message ,Please use or install the ECS ver 5.1.1 to match the firmware in the Pico matrix
