IP Concert: How do I reinstall a saved Concert database and serial number file after upgrading the server?

Question:  I've upgraded a Concert 2.6 Server to version 2.7, before upgrading the server software I backed up the server database and exported it out to a memory stick.  I also have a copy of the Concert server serial number file that I installed for Concert 2.6 that I would like to reintroduce into version 2.7.  How do I reinstall these files on the Concert 2.7 server software?
Answer:  Once the Concert 2.7 EMS main screen is opened in a web browser look in the left-hand column for the "License" menu option and the "Database" menu option.
In the License menu screen (main screen) the user will see the following options:
  • License Information - user can see the current licensing information
  • Update License - allows the user to update the license
In the "Update License" section the user has two button options, BROWSE and APPLY and a window box to show the selected file to apply.  A valid file will look like this:  CL05P_xxxx_xx_20120416.lic
To reinstall the license file click on BROWSE in the Update License screen, find the directory where the file was saved, highlight the file and click on "Open" in the dialog box and then on APPLY to update the license file, the License Information screen should now reflect the updated information.
In the Database menu screen (main screen) the user will see the following options:
  • Backup Database - allows the user to save the current database as a file
  • Database Archives - allows the user to view saved database files
  • Copy Local File to Database Archive on Server - allows user to upload a saved database file
To reinstall the database compressed file, a valid example database file like this:  20121218_0927.sql.gz is selected.    Browse for the saved database file, once it is found highlight it and click on open.  The database file will now appear in the Upload window, click on UPLOAD.  Once done the server will indicate that the file was successfully restored.
