Wireless: Can a pre 2.0 Tempest system be upgraded to 2.0 functionality?

Can a pre 2.0 Tempest system be upgraded to full Tempest 2.0 functionality (normal, split and shared modes) with a simple firmware upgrade to the base station and beltpacks?
The answer is no, the firmware and software upgrade to a pre 2.0 Tempest system will allow the user to take advantage of the normal (5 beltpacks only) and split mode (unlimited beltpacks on the 5th slot only) operation.
To get advantage of the shared mode in a pre 2.0 system the base station, remote antenna and beltpacks would need to be returned to the Clear-Com Alabama Service Center for hardware upgrades.
