Can an RTS PL Call signal be used to drive a GPO out on an LQ-GPIO unit?
The setupis as follows … RTS PL system >>> LQ-2W2 >>> LQ-GPIO >>> 2-way Radio(Audio +PTT) The manualshows some limitation on support for call signal … but it’s not clear if the limitationapplies
put your 2Wire LQ port -A/B into RTS mode
Link this box to a 4WG8 LQ-R box
Go to Assignments and put port-A of the 2-wire and Port-A of the 4WG8 in the same channel
Then set the 4W-Port-A of the GPIO box to be triggered by Call Control Event
Now if you send acall signal from the RTS beltpack (Chnl A) this should be passed through to the 4wireGPIO port A on the GPIO box which will fire the output. The audio from the RTSbeltpack should then pass to this port via the channel so you will get your audioand your GPO event.
