Matrix: I want to route audio (indent tone or welcome message) to incoming telephone callers

Matrix: I want to route audio (indent tone or welcome message) to incoming telephone callers

When a caller rings in on a TEL-14 and it auto-answers  rather than listen to silence while waiting for the MCR / studio operator to press a key to talk to the incoming caller I would like them to hear some kind of greeting message or line ident
Answer: In ECS set the TEL-14 to port o become a Global (or local) IFB destination and set the greeting message / line ident port as a source to the TEL-14.Note: if you set the TEL-14 application mode to "Telephone IFB" then the IFB settings are done automatically for you in ECS
Now when the TEL-14 unit auto answers the incoming call after 2-4 rings the incoming caller will hear the greeting message or line ident. As soon as the MCR / studio operator presses their key to talk to the incoming caller the greeting message or line ident will be cut.
The MCR / Studio operator can be notified of an incoming telephone caller by setting the TEL-14 port off hook tally indicator
