Matrix: Can I run a EHX Client in Client-Only mode on the same machine as an EHX Server?
If it is necessary to run an EHX client on the same machine as the EHX Server, the client should always be used to connect to the server (by either providing the machine name or ip address in the "Log On" dialog) and should not be used in client-only mode.
If EHX is run in client-only mode on the same machine as an EHX server, you may find that some network communication between the matrix and either the client or server may fail as both will attempt to make use of the same TCP or UDP ports, which may already be in use.
Note: the same rule applies to ECS server and ECS clients
