Matrix: How do I record a port or ports from my Eclipse Matrix?
To record the intercom, create a port in the Matrix’s software as a DIRECT (4wire port) and go to the LOCAL ADVANCED page. In the FORCED LISTEN tab, remembering that the ports on the vertical line on the left-hand side of the page are inbound audio and the ports on the horizontal line on the top are destinations.
Find the crosspoint and turn it ON.
Then, at the port (in this case port 10) use the middle pins (the blue pair in 568B wiring…pins 4 & 5) of that port to go to your recorder.
See attached picture of the LOCAL ADVANCED PAGE IN EHX (ECS is similar)
Please check the solutions for other methods of recording audio from the Matrix
- example: you can add the recording port as permanent listen member to a Partyline and then record all audio on that partyline / channel
