Matrix: Can't import an ECS 4.2 configuration into ECS 5.2 software

Question:  I am in the process of upgrading a Pico Matrix frame from version 4.2 to version 5.2.4, the software loaded in properly and I exported the 4.2 configuration as a .ccn file, but when I try to load in this file into the ECS 5.2.4 software this process creates an error message and the process stops.  Can you provide an explanation for this error and tell me how to get around it?

Answer:  There is too big a difference between these two versions of ECS.  The version 4.2 configuration file will first need to be exported from this version as a .ccc file, take this file and import it into ECS 5.1.3, this will make the necessary changes to the formatting of the configuration file.  Once the .ccc file is in version 5.1.3, export it from 5.1.3 and save it as a .ccn file.  Take this file and import it into ECS 5.2.4.
