Question:  How do I go about adding an XPL-22 expansion panel to an existing ICS-2003 panel on my Eclipse Pico v5.2 system?  Is there a specific way to connect and power up the expansion panel?
Answer:  1. Power down the ICS-2003 
2.  Make physical connections from the ICS-2003 panel to the XPL-22 panel using a DB9M to DB9F cable.  Power up the ICS-2003 panel before applying power to the attached expansion panel. 
3. Power up the XPL-22 panel, it should sync up to the ICS-2003 panel and go online.
4.  In ECS software highlight the ICS-2003 port, then go to the advanced settings / panel options and select expansion panels, declare the expansion panel(s), 
5. Go to the ECS panel programming screen .Select the ICS-2003 panel and program the the expansion panel with talk / listen labels as required and apply the changes in ECS software.  The expansion panel is now ready for use.
