Partyline: Can I use the PK-5 power brick on the Encore PK-7?

Question:  I have recently replaced my PK-5 party-line power supply with the Encore PK-7 model.  Can I use the PK-5 power brick  as a back up for the PK-7 unit?
Answer:  No, the PSU for the PK-5 and PK-7 are not compatible or interchangeable. 
The PK-5 party-line power supply used an AC transformer to power the PK module, either a 120VAC version for the US or a 230VAC version for the Euro market.  The output of the transformer was 24VAC at 400mA, enough to power approximately (7) RS-601 or RS-501 single channel beltpacks. 
part # 400007 for US version
part # 400012 for the Euro version
The PK-7 party-line supply uses a 100 - 240 switching VAC PSU that provides 22-30Vdc at approximately 400mA.  It will power approximately (7) RS-601 / RS-501 single channel beltpacks.
