Matrix: Can I use TEL-12, RLY-8 interface cards with Eclipse frames?

Question:  If I have older TEL-12 and RLY-8 interface cards from an IMF-1 interface frame can I use the card fronts / rear panel connectors on a newer Eclipse IMF-3 / IMF-102 / Median frame interface card slots?
Answer:  The older TEL-12 and RLY-8 interface cards and their associated rear panel card connectors were originally designed for the obsolete Matrix +2 intercom systems.  These cards and rear panel connector cards are not compatible with Eclipse Median frames or newer IMF-3 or IMF-102 interface card frames.  The current interface card equivalents are TEL-14s and RLY-6s which are supported by the current rear panel card part number 710538.

This solution is also valid for Matrix +3 MMX-24 frames and IMF-3 / IMF-102 frames connected to Compact 72 or System 200 Matrix +3 frames.
