Partyline: How do I adjust the microphone gain on the MS-232 PL main station?
Question: I would like to adjust the gooseneck microphone gain on the MS-232 main station. I didn't see a recessed front panel or rear panel adjustment control. Can it be accessed internally if the MS-232 top cover is removed?
Answer: This control is located on the underside of the MS-232 chassis. It may be used to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the panel microphone. It has no effect on the sensitivity of the headset microphone. Use a small screwdriver to turn the control clockwise to increase sensitivity or counterclockwise to decrease sensitivity. See layout below for location of this adjustment.
