Wireless: Does the DX210 have a antenna extension kit and what is Side tone ?

Thank you for contacting Clear-Com.

The Antenna Extension Kit G26671-1 allows one antenna of any HME 2.4GHz wireless intercom DX210 to be mounted up to 30 feet (9.14 meters) from the base station for improved signal coverage. The antenna can be mounted inside a window or outside for extended coverage. More accessories for the DX210 can be found in the brochure http://www.clearcom.com/upload/download/Clear-Com_HMEDX_Brochure_Dec2014.pdf
Since all DX base stations use two transmit / receive antennas either one of the antennas or both antennas can be remotely located to improve beltpack coverage indoors or outdoors.
What is side tone?To adjust sidetone, the volume level of your own voice that you hear in the headset earpiece as you speak into the microphone, press and hold the IC button while you press the volume-up or volume-down  button. If you reach the maximum volume level you will hear “Maximum” in the headset earpiece. If you reach the minimum volume level you will hear double beeps. Your sidetone setting will be saved in memory, and does not require readjustment each time the Beltpac is turned off and on.
NOTE: This adjustment only affects the level of your voice in your own headset, not how anyone else hears you.  More instructions can be found in manual (link below).http://www.clearcom.com/download/user-manuals/hme-dx210-user-manual
