Matrix: How do I change / delete an existing V-Series pushbutton / lever key IP panel password?
The IP panel Password screen doesn't have a "clear" key to delete or change an existing password. It can be manually deleted or changed by following this procedure:
1. Select PASSWORD from the IP SETUP menu.
2. The encoded password will be visable as "star" characters.
3. In the display showing the "star" characters. Press & Hold the down scroll button (small blue button)
4. After 3-4 seconds the display will clear
5. Press the highlighted PASSWORD key, to exit the password menu.
6. Press PASSWORD from the IP SETUP menu, the password should now be deleted / blank.
7. Press the password character keys to enter a new password, press PASSWORD to enter the new password and exit.
