Wireless: Beyer DT-280 MkII headset with incorrect accessory cable won't work with Tempest beltpack

Question:  I have some Tempest CP-242 beltpacks that don't work with Beyer DT-280 MkII headsets.  The headsets aren't the v11 version which we understand are not compatible with your beltpack, the headset is connected via a K109-28 accessory headset cable to a 4-pin XLR connector.  We can hear from the beltpack, but we can't talk via the microphone, the beltpack mic menu indicates that an electret headset is connected, but we know the mic element is dynamic.  Any help is appreciated.
Answer:  The DT-280 MkII headset will work with Tempest 2400 / 900 beltpacks, but the headset accessory cable is incorrect.  The K109-28 cable has only 6 pins and is meant to be used with the DT-108/109 series headsets, the DT-280/290 MkII headsets have 7 pins so the dynamic mic isn't properly configured for the 4-pin XLR.
The correct headset cable is a K190-28, this accessory cable has 7 pins and will properly configure the headset mic out to the 4-pin XLR connector.  See below for the pin outs of each headset connector.
