Matrix: How can I connect 6 Freespeak antennas to an EQUE card

Ineed to connect 6 antennas. to an EQUE card 
Is it allowed to connect 5 antennas to a splitter and the 6th antenna on port5?
I remember that we did that successfully with Drake 4000 matrix. What about Eclipse?
You have two options  a)     Set eque card into SPLITTER mode ·        In this mode only port 1 and 5 of theeque card rear RCU are enabled ·         Connect a splitter to eque port1 and the splitter will drive 5 antennas (make sure the splitter is locallypowered)·        Then use 1 antenna on eque port 5(the antenna has to be locally powered)  b)     Set eque card into ANTENNA mode ·        In this mode ports 1-8 of the equecard rear RCU are enabled·        Then connect 6 antennas to eque port1-6 ·        no splitter is required ·        each antenna needs to be locallypowered
