Matrix: How do I monitor latency on an E-Dante card?
The user can monitor latency on an Eclipse frame using an E-Dante card by opening the Dante Controller software and
selecting the E-Dante card device view. From the Device View screen select the Latency Tab. From this screen a
real time graph will be presented showing the current latency over time. If the graph lines are green that usually means
the user has selected the correct latency settings from the Device Config tab.

If the user needs to adjust the latency setting (pops / clicks / momentary drops in the audio stream) open the device
config tab and adjust the Device latency settings as seen below.

With the proper 1Gigabit switches on the Dante network the user should be able to use the 1 msec selection in the
menu. Slower 100Mbit switches will require higher latency settings to allow proper audio streaming.
