Matrix: How do I use a VOX control to get a panel operator to talk to several panels at once without pressing a key

Question:  I have a requirement for a panel to trigger a controlwith an associated GPO using only vox. (voice operated switch) The scenario is that thepanel operator without pressing any keys can be heard by other panels and also keya 2 way radio and transmits the audio when they talk into their mic Answer: (see attached)The simplest way to get this is to use the VOX action  The VOX acts likes a noise gate so that, so that whenactive it triggers a function or crosspoints in the system. The VOX has a threshold level which the user can set sothat only when the incoming audio is greater than the threshold level is theVOX and its associated action active When the audio level drops below the VOX threshold thenthe VOX turns off. The OFF delay is also adjustable to allow for small periods ofsilence when someone is talking but does not turn of too sharply so making theaudio sound choppy. The VOX setting is available on all ports on the matrix Panels4wires (directs)Interfaces (TEL-14, FOR-22, CCI-22)MADI and E1 directs
