IP-Voice: Two Voice 2 units are talking to each other but the audio quality is poor with clicks and loss of audio packets
Question: The Voice 2 units are connected and sound is coming out but there are many clicks and I am losing parts of the conversation. What parameters can I play with to improve the sound quality between the two Voice units?
Answer: The IP communication between the two Voice 2 interfaces is bad. This could be due to the bandwidth of the IP pipe not being wide enough to support the codec or the latency being too high. Try the following to correct the issue:
a. Increase the maximum jitter range (to combat latency).
b. Select a lower bandwidth codec (to combat bandwidth limitations).
