T Desk will not connect to Tempest BaseStation

Your PC and Tempest base station will need to be in the same network range and same physical network, your Windows firewall should be disabled for testing purposes as it can restrict network traffic.  Also disable any wireless cards on the PC. 

If this has been done, check the following:
Connect your PC and Basestation together with a single straight cat5 cable. Open a command prompt on your PC and ping the Basestation IP address.
If the Basestation is pingable but T Desk will still not connect disable your wireless network card, and any other network cards in your system. You may find that these are preventing the discovery of the Basestation.
Once you have extablished contact put your PC and Basestation back on the network and try again. You should now connect with no problems.
