Wireless: Can I connect FSII transceivers over IP networks?

Yes you can. Now that the new splitter FSII-SPL has a local sync generator you can use 3rd party E1 to TDMoIP media convertors from the base or matrix to the splitter link over an IP network. Suitable convertors are available from RAD or Rakuten. The splitter transceivers will allow local beltpack seamless roaming since the sync signal is not transferred over the E1/IP link but is locally generated at the splitter.
see FSII splitter quick start guide for details : http://www.clearcom.com/upload/download/FreeSpeakII_v2.1/FreeSpeakII_Splitter_QuickStartGuide-399G182A.pdf

NOTE:  The DECT Sync from the base will not make the trip with the E1 data to the fiber-connected transceiver, so do not expect any handoffs to/from the antennas on the fiber-connected antennas.
